CSA League Information

CSA Advanced League: The Advanced League includes teams from around the state and age groups from U11 to U19, and is further subdivided into divisions based on the experience and skill level of the teams. The Advanced League offers a system of promotion, so that the top two teams in each division move upward to a more advanced division the next season. Age groups U11 and U12 play in a smaller 9v9 format, while all other age groups play standard 11v11 games. The Advanced League is the preferred league for most Blitz teams, if there are sufficient players to form a full squad.

CSA Front Range League: The Front Range League (FRL) is considered a recreational or developmental league, and is intended for younger age groups and smaller teams. The FRL teams are mostly located in the Boulder to Pueblo corridor so travel to away games is more limited than in the Advanced League. The FRL age groups range from U9 to U19 and are also subdivided into divisions based on experience level. Age groups U9 and U10 play small-sided 7v7 games, and all the other age groups play a reduced size 9v9 format. Cañon City Blitz places teams in the FRL for younger age groups and for teams that don’t have enough players to participate in the standard 11v11 format.
